Nurture, Educate and Inspire …
… ‘so that we come to life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10)
At Hanborough Manor Church of England primary school we are committed to providing an education for pupils that enables them to live life in all its fullness and fulfils the words of Jesus in John 10:10: “I came that they might have life, and have it abundantly.”
In our school we have one Golden Rule. We treat others as we would like to be treated.
Our vision is to nurture, educate and inspire our pupils to be creative, honest, perseverant, responsible, respectful and good friends to one another. We nurture every child in order that they receive the best possible education. We love our neighbour as ourselves so that we come to life in all its fullness. We seek to foster a culture of excellence and care.
Our school vision was created, in conjunction with pupils, parents, staff and governors in 2019. We were inspired to create a vision that reflects our commitment to welcome pupils and families of all faiths and no faith and to provide the best possible education and care for everyone.
HMS - proud to be a Church of England school
“A Christian school is one in which the atmosphere has that kind of openness about it, that sense that people are worth spending time with, that people need time to grow, need loving attention. … It doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone involved has to share the same theology or philosophy … but a Christian school is one in which the entire atmosphere is pervaded by the conviction that there is something mysterious, and potentially wonderful, in everybody.”
