Today we went on a walk to the Post Office to post our letters to Father Christmas.
We then went to the Methodist Church to look at all the beautiful Christmas Trees.
For Black History Month we learnt and talked about why it is celebrated and we looked at several famous people throughout history.
The last famous person we looked at was Lonnie Johnson a famous American inventor. The children were fascinated that he invented the Super Soaker!
We then became inventors for the day using various resource's to create our own inventions.
We had - cars, bikes, a drone, towers and buildings and even a cake machine.
We had a great time on our Autumn walk to the woods. We did several activities with leaves and autumn items we found on the ground. Snack time was enjoyed by all.
The children have had a great start to School Life. They have been exploring, learning and having fun.
