British Values
At Hanborough Manor we have a duty to prepare our children for life in modern Britain and to keep them safe. We value the importance of the current Ofsted guidance:
"ensure that they and the school promote tolerance of and respect for people of all faiths (or those with no faith), cultures and lifestyles; and support and help, through their words, actions and influence within the school and more widely in the community, to prepare children and young people positively for life in modern Britain." (see link to document below)
We ensure that the British values of Democracy, Respect, Tolerance, Rule of Law and Responsibility and Liberty run through every aspect of the curriculum and all that we do. We promote these values at every given opportunity.
Please find a link below which outlines how we promote British Values at HMS.
