Liddington - Day Three

Our final day! We had a lot to get done today, with some very sleepy children! Waking up early to start packing and sorting our rooms, the children had to work together to complete all their jobs. Well done to those who spent the time to help their friends out with packing, it was very much appreciated by the adults!

We had a yummy breakfast of hash browns and sausages before heading on to our morning activities. Today, we completed the Vertical Challenge (using our climbing skills to tackle the challenges above our heads, as well as working in a team to safely and successfully belay for our friends) and Buggy Building (learning new knots and using logs and barrels to create our own moving buggies!). Whilst a bit quieter and more tired today, we all still had a great time and were all successful. 

We had a lunch of jacket potatoes with different fillings before spending some time playing outside and waiting for the coach. The journey back home was a lot quieter than it was on Monday...

Thank you Year 4 for a wonderful couple of days away. You have done the school proud and I hope you have a lovely sleep and rest in your own beds tonight!
