Welcome to the

Foundation Stage Page!

Welcome to all our new children and parents.

We are looking forward to getting to know you!

This term our topic is

‘My World'

This term the children will be finding out about their bodies, their histories, their place in the world, and how each one of them is unique and special!

The children will be engaging with their learning by finding out and exploring different activities, using what they already know to continue their learning.

We will support them in building their confidence so they are happy to ‘have a go’ at new activities and ‘keep on trying’ to achieve their goals.

They will have opportunities to be creative and think critically; using their own ideas and choosing their own way of doing things to solve problems.

Each week the children will have a ‘talk topic’ to bring home

giving them opportunities to share their learning with parents and carers.

After half term they will have a homework book and information about the school homework policy.

Our Jigsaw theme this term is 'Being me in my world' and our collective worship theme is ‘Life in all its fullness’.

Please remember to send your child with a water bottle, outdoor shoes and coat every day. They will also need wellies if the weather is wet or for playing in the sand or mud kitchen.

If you have any worries, concerns or just need reassuring please talk to one of the members of staff.
