This term our topic is
All creatures great and small!
The children have chosen a topic on animals for this term.
They are particularly fascinated by minibeasts and sealife.
The children will be visiting Sutton Courtenay Nature Reserve to find out about the wildlife in local habitats as well as finding out how to make our school grounds more ‘nature friendly’.
After half term they will be watching their own caterpillar grow and change into a chrysalis and then a butterfly!
Our Jigsaw theme for term 5 is Relationships and our collective worship theme is Friendship.
Each week the children will have a homework that will include a ‘talk topic’,
reading, maths and phonics games giving them opportunities to share their learning with parents and carers.
As the weather is getting warmer please make sure your child has a water bottle, a sunhat and suncream.
They will still need wellies for playing in the sand and the mud kitchen.
If you have any worries, concerns or just need reassuring please come and see me.
